This rod is totally different to the Powertex Bass. It is designed for very light lead work in the surf or gully fishing and can be held all day long due to its extreme lightness. It has also been designed to have the capability to throw peeler crab or any soft bait without damaging. This has been enabled by designing a rod with a soft throw action. But don't let the soft feel imply that it lacks power, it doesn't! It will in fact throw a 1 or 2 oz lead a very long way if required.
The overall aproximate length is 11ft 7" and has a casting weight of 1-4oz.
