It's the perfect tool for the Atlantic storm beach, standing in the surf holding this rod is a pleasure. It flicks a 2 or 3 oz lead miles! The finished rod weighs only a tad over 400 grams, it has an overall aproximate length of 12 ft 8" inches and a butt diameter of only 20mm. Optimum casting weight is around 4 oz. A simple description would read; A very light weight beach caster designed to be hand held. with plenty of power in reserve for hard fighting bass.
