| bought this for my son to go wreck fishing change the line to braid copes well it caught him cod ling and coley his best was a 19lb cod and a 22lb cod no problems with pulled the up from the depths the cheiftian goes from also a ling at 9lb |

Bought this rod a month ago, used it for a two day species match down south and already love it. For a 15-40lb rod the tip has great sensitivity. It looks great and fishes even better, the reel is great and works with ease. I have changed the line to braid which runs smoothly through the reel and guides.
You can see every bite with the tip, its already proved it worth by landed a cracking 19lb ray, 25lb conger and loads of other bits and bobs including the smallest pout I have ever seen!. I really recommended this combo for under £50 you can't really go wrong. |
