Since the introduction, thesmall sized Baitrunner DL FA reels, available in 2500 and 4000 size have opened up a whole host freespool fishing applications never catered for by Shimano in the past.
Now with the growth commercial fisheries and the size of the fish that reside in them the small size freespool masters are built to cope with the task with ease.
Taking 200yds and 240yds of 6lb and 8lb line respectively the have enough capacity to fish at reasonable ranges for carp, tench etc and also offer the freespool function which can be a necessity when method feeder fishing, ledgering or even float fishing for big fish.
