The MATCHMAN HOOK TYER became a sensation when it was demonstrated at a large tackle exhibition in Germany in 1977 by tying size 24s hook to 1.2lbs line BLINDFOLDED.
Some time later it was put to the test against the so called ˜Uni super knot at Manchester University fibre testing facility (they tested the first carbon fibres for strength and reliability). They are a world renown testing authority.
