The new Finn weights are a new design of lead that is starting to catch on and can help enormously with reducing lost gear.
The aerodynamic shape is ideal for distance casting and incorporates wings which act as lead lifts, lifting the lead clear of any snags on the retrieve. The same wings ensure that the leads want to lay flat on the bottom which means they won't roll along the bottom like traditional weights and because they easily lift off the bottom, they make ideal weights for feathering from the shore.
Designed by angling coach Graham Finn and England International Patricia Heath they make a very useful and cost effective alternative to the traditional design of weight. |
