HPR is based on a 3M - Resin system which is fortified with quantum particles of silica that delivers considerable additional strength to a well designed rod without adding extra carbon fibre weight.
Century's testing indicates a rod incorporatingthis system is 65% stronger, can be up to 25% lighter and will with stand a far higher level of bending and loading compared toa rod built with a conventional resin system.
When the HPR system is processed inside an autoclave - a curing process which is unique to century, the results are further enhanced. This combination of new resin technology and enhanced curing in an autoclave generates a rod that will resist fatigue and action decay.
Due substantial improvements in strength and resist incidental knocks far more than conventional resin systems.
HPR 7"-3" - Bite detection is electric and the power in the rod completely seamless no matter the fish size. Bass to over 10lb wrasse to over 6lb have been taken on this model.
HPR 7"-7" - This is a bit more specialist but perhaps the best choice if dealing with windy coastlines, kelp bottoms, proper big boulders or dense matted weeds like japweed and bootlace weeds.This rod excels at flipping a powerful rod but still very good bite detection.
HPR 9" - This is the multi range lure rod that was designed and tested for soft lures around 9" and hard lures in as wide a range (lenqth and weight) as possible. It is superfast, loads very easily and rewards the angler with long,
controlled casts at ranges other rods cannot match with this amount of control. |
