The bite alert is ideal when fishing at night. It’s supplied with two mounting clips – 3mm and 5mm – so it’ll fit on the tip of most rods.
It clamps very securely to the rod and flashes green when on standby and red when a fish bites. Wave action does not activate the red flash. When you’ve finished fishing simply remove it from the rod and store away until your next trip where the ‘energy save system’ gives the battery long life.
