These Kenzaki rods are super slim and have a slightly softer action than conventional boat rods,To aid  when using braid to eliminate bumped fish as braid has very limited stretch,
So the 6-12lb feels closer to the 6lb class rather than the 12lb, so be aware of the weight of lead you would be likely to use and where you normally fish!
The Kenzakis also feature a triangular fore grip and specifically positioned reel seat for maximum leverage.
