Fox Edges Inline Drop Off Kit The Drop Off Inline Lead Kit instantly converts any Fox Inline Lead to be fished drop off style. Use without the tail rubber to drop the lead on the take or with the tail rubber to drop the lead should the fish become snagged. FEATURES • Designed for use with Fox inline leads to allow them to be fished drop-off style. • Simply remove the insert from the lead and cut off the thin section, place the rubber back into the bottom of the lead. The Insert from the Drop Off kit then threads onto your line and is placed into the top of the lead. When you get a take the lead will eject but the insert will stay on the line. • Comes supplied with a tail rubber if you want to increase the amount of pressure required to eject the lead. • 5 inserts and 5 tail rubbers per kit • Perfect when fishing inline leads on weedy/snaggy lakes. EDGES™ The new Edges range is made up of a whole host of end tackle products that have each individually been designed to make the rigs you tie better than they have ever been. Within the range you will find leaders, hooklinks, clips, sleeves, shrink tube and gizmo’s that have been designed in conjunction with their consultant and underwater diver Rob Hughes, so that their colours and appearance best match a whole host of different lakebed make-ups – a massive ‘edge’ in itself!

Designed with a plastic Slik® insert for improved rotation of the swivel, the bead slides directly onto the mainline without a leader. During the fight the bead slides down the main line into the buffer sleeve. The buffer sleeves also feature a moulded hole to allow the rig to be set up with a drop off lead.

Korda Cog Kit A lead system that betters the hooking qualities of an inline, yet casts like a lead clip, with all its safety benefits? It doesn’t exist, right? Well, such a product is in tackle shops from tomorrow. After what seems like ages in the development, the COG system is finally here, in physical form. COG stands for Centre of Gravity, which is a reference to the unique way that the hook link is attached to the heaviest part of the lead, giving instant, unparalleled hooking. Put simply, this system has been designed to convert more pick-ups into fish on the bank. So, why did it take so long? Well, simply put, we tested it, tweaked it, changed it and then changed it back again across the space of a few years. The whole sampling process takes an awfully long time and because the end result had to work flawlessly, each stage was tested rigorously. Right through from early testing, to DVD sessions at Gigantica and intense scrutiny in front of the unblinking Underwater cameras, the COG has proven itself to be a genuine advantage. In order to truly take advantage of the unique attributes that the COG possesses, you need to be aware of its limitations. Crucially, it must be used with tubing or leadcore, and in testing we found that, although effective with more supple links, it is more suited to the stiffer hook links, such as IQ, Hybrid Stiff and N-Trap Semi Stiff. They help to eliminate tangles and kick that hook bait away from the COG, ensuring that a fish picking the hook bait up feels the full hooking impact of the system immediately. To aid the kicking-away process, we’d recommend that you give critically balanced ‘wafter’ hook baits a go with your stiff-rig setups. The one rig that stands head and shoulders above all others for use with the COG is Danny Fairbrass’ IQ D Rig. You only have to look at the Underwater filming to understand just how effective that pairing can be. When to use it then? Well, it’s best used over firm lake beds like gravel, sand and firm silt, rather than weed, when you’re better to reach for the Heli-Safe system. It can be cast every bit as far as a normal lead clip system, although when going for extreme range, it’s worth dispensing with any PVA bags as the impact could force the half-swivel out of the lead. For margin work and placing from boats, the COG is simply unrivalled. Initially, there are just two lead shapes available, flat pear and distance, which should cover you for most fishing situations. The flat pear version is best used for closer range, lowering or dropping from a boat, whereas the distance version is the one to reach for if you’re having to go long for your fish. One point well worth noting is that the COG boom sections are numbered (on the swivel) because it’s essential that they are used with the correct lead. If you use the wrong boom with the wrong lead, the setup simply won’t work as intended. We’ve had reports of great results from all those who’ve been able to use samples so far, and we’re excited to see how much of an impact the COG has on your angling too. We aren’t claiming that the COG is the answer to all your fishing problems, but it certainly does take bolt-rig technology forwards, while retaining the inherent safety of the lead clip. One thing’s for sure, it’s set to catch an awful lot of fish this year…

Korda Lead Clip Action Pack Korda Lead Clip Action Pack

Korda Lead Clip Action Pack Being brutally honest there is a lot of rubbish written about how to use a lead clip properly. The essence of the system is that it will allow a snagged lead to pull off the rig thus releasing the fish from the unseen snag or weed bed so you land it rather than lose it. If you were attached to a really big carp would you forfeit the lead to guarantee you landed the carp? We know we would and it`s a small price to pay. All Korda packaging is overflowing with information on how to use the products effectively. This booklet expands and reinforces that information. The basic rule of the lead clip system is the lead must eject before the swivel pulls out. If the swivel comes out first the lead will never eject. Instead the line will pull back and forth through the system like a running rig leaving the lead snagged and the fish too! Consisting of : 5 Lead clips 5 Rubbers 5 Size 8 swivels Korda rig tube has a 0.75mm bore it has a smooth matt finish making it easy to thread.

Korda Safe Zone Leaders Make no mistake the rig you are using at this very moment can be seen by the carp and the brighter the sun and the clearer the water the more it stands out. Fortunately competitive feeding and being lucky enough for the rig to lay right every now and again does lead to captures. However don’t kid yourself your rigs ability to blend into its background will affect your run rate. I have seen that the less they feel they are being fished for the more bites you will get. This totally unique experience has shown me that if we can create a `Safe Zone` around the hook bait then we will get more bites. This is why korda are the only company selling several different colours of all their rig items so that you have the option of matching your rig to the lake bed it will be resting on. So how do we know the new Safezone leaders really do blend in? Because they actually took samples of the different types of lake bed and sent them to the manufacturers so they could colour match to some actual Silk Weed Gravel Silt and Clay. To you and I the colours may not look right but simply drop them in on the type of lake bed we say they are suited to and watch them disappear.

Korda Zig Kit The Zig Kit is the ultimate adjustable setup! The precision blow-moulded float is the optimum size to allow the float to easily rise to the surface, whilst being compact enough to allow long range fishing and the light grey colour ensures it's unobtrusive midwater, regardless of the light/water conditions. The float features a soft insert that houses the (supplied) size 11 QC Swivel, this reduces the profile of the float and helps to prevent tangles. A clear anti-tangle sleeve is also supplied. The crucial feature of the boom section is the ball bearing swivel, the swivel ensures the rapid rotation of the boom and prevents the float tangling, the buoyant ball ensures the link sits up over any debris allowing the float to rise freely.
