Description

Daiwa 7HT Mag

Regarded by many as the easiest, quality beach multiplier on the market. The 7HT mag can be used by anglers of any ability due to several of it's impressive features including it's unique 'magnafuge' breaking system.

Allowing the spool to hit maximum speed at the beginning of the cast Magnofuge kicks in almost instantly. As the reel detects the centrifugal force of the spool reducing it activates minute and gradual adjustment to the magnetic resistance but in perfect synchronicity with the speed of the spool.

Straight from the box again the latest 7HT is `cast ready` and thanks to the wide range of magnetic settings available through easy grip CNC machined dial you can tailor the range to suit any condition.

On the winding front the Mag offers a swift ratio of 5.8:1 six ball bearings of which five are CRBBs and an improved handle size and grip.

  • Gear Ratio 5.8:1
  • Six Ball Bearings
  • Improved Handle
  • Capacity 250m - 20lb Mono
  • Magnetic Control System

Century Eliminator T700 15ft SGT This is a new design of rod from Century taking in aspects of traditional UK style beach rods and mixing them up with attributes of continental styles rods producing a rod which is new, different and quite simply stunning. The growth of continental rods in the UK has mainly down to the distance the 'average bloke' can achieve with a simple overhead thump but as with everything there is a down side. Continental rods generally don't sit well in swells and are unsuitable to use over mixed and rougher ground. Century's design team decided to see if they could produce something which contains the best of both styles of rod, so the Eliminator T700 was born. The Eliminator T700 can cast huge distances with just a simple overhead cast, but will work equally as well with a pendulum cast. With a casting rating of 3-6oz leads, this rod still has an incredible balanced and is unerringly light for such a long rod. So how have Century created this rod? Well it's down to Century's ingenious experts and partly down to the use of a new material in sea rod construction - Graphene. It's lighter and stronger than just about any material known to man and when cleverly combined with types of carbon it can produce some quite amazing rods. Is this rod for you? Well if you're after something to increase your distance with simple casting techniques, which sits pretty well in the tide and generally fish over clean to mixed ground, this rod would be ideal Features - Length 15ft Optimum casting weight 6oz (rated 4-7oz) 2 piece (equal section) Japanese shrink tube Century adjustable reel seat Fuji Titanium K guides Stainless trim bands on section joins Rubber grip at section joins for easy release Century padded rod bag Graphene construction SGT glass tip for superb bite registration UK made

Century Eliminator T800-SGT 13ft 6" The first thing you’ll notice is that the Eliminator T800 is extremely low diameter, yet very powerful. Optimum casting weight is 5oz; it is 13ft 6” long in two equal sections. It produces a fluid, through casting action, that hits big distances either using a pendulum or an off the ground cast. This rod achieved  in excess of 250 yards during testing. Also suited to a overhead thump, where the tip recovers very quickly. Used in Norway’s fjords, landing cod up to 25lb from the shore. They took everything that was thrown at them, they are ideal for clean to mixed ground shore fishing, where distance matters, and they are a real pleasure to use. Century HPR Excalibur J Curve 13ft 6" 4-7oz The Excalibur J is a significant step forward in rod dynamics and incorporates exclusive technology both in the tip and butt section. Century’s well established Autoclave Technology, Gearbox Design and AT-T (anti twist technology) is complimented by a new HPR resin technology primarily in the tip section. The outcome and benefit is a significant reduction in the tip weight, greater toughness and a very fast tip recovery to neutral after the casting cycle. The Excalibur J is built and designed to accommodate an angler who will require good performance both on the cast and retrieve without necessarily digging deep down in the power storage areas of the butt: the design is undoubtedly capable at long range for those that require it but it compliments an angler with a reasonable overhead, OTG or Brighton style casting technique, who wishes to fish medium ranges without reverting to full pendulum. The rod will prescribe a curve that effectively delivers a longer length and thus positive leverage when moderately compressed compared with a rod at maximum compression. When fully compressed the energy storage and release is dramatic. The new technology in the tip increases tip recovery and more efficiently translates effort into tip speed. The speed of recovery has been a consistent remark by all that have fished the Excalibur J. When fishing the tip responds brilliantly to taught line bites and even sulky fish that just sit motionless will eventually give rattle indications which can easily be detected. The super slim diameter is stable in high winds and the low moment of inertia makes match style – repetitive cast and retrieve – much less tiring. Please Note: All new Century Titanium K Guide built rods do not come with a reducer, if you wish to purchase one then please add one to your basket. Century Excalibur TT 14ft 10"   4-8oz The Excalibur TT is a significant step forward in rod dynamics and incorporates exclusive technology – both in the tip and butt section. Century’s well established autoclave technology and AT-T (anti twist technology) is complimented by a new resin technology primarily in the tip section. The outcome and benefit is a significant reduction in the tip weight, greater toughness and a very fast tip recovery to neutral after the casting cycle. We have perfected this new approach in consultation with Danny Moeskops – a leading caster and angler. The Excalibur TT has been used by Danny to win numerous casting tournaments and he uses the same fundamental design in his tournament rods with some cosmetic differences – as the model available to all anglers. The TT was used by Alessio Massa and Danny to take 1st and 2nd place respectively in World Casting Championships, Greece 2012. A key factor in rod design needs to address the issue of the mass in the tip. If this can be reduced but still retain integrity and sensitivity – the benefits to an angler are very obvious. Reduce the weight of the tip by 25% over comparable rods and you are effectively casting up to 2 to 3 ounces less or conversely able to cast a heavier weight when tactically required, with less physical effort. The rod’s moment of inertia is reduced. For longer range casting it is important to store and release maximum energy and ultimately this has to come from lower down in the rod. If this area can be accessed efficiently by an angler then distance will follow, given a good casting technique and the design of the Excalibur TT will deliver this benefit admirably. The Excalibur TT is designed primarily for hard to mixed ground fishing where you are likely to encounter strong tidal streams or dense weed and kelp. Think rough seas off North East coast, deep Norwegian Fjords, rugged Welsh coastlines and Excalibur TT is the tool to combat these challenging conditions.
