This addition to Akios’ fixed spool family really sets a new standard in longcast fixed spools at this price point.
It features strong and smooth internals allowing you to have full confidence around the UK coastline regardless of what sepcies you are targetting. It also features a huge 16kg drag so battling big Smoothounds would be no issue. The drag is also super quick allowing you to easily adjust during the fight.
Slow oscillation = great line lay = a long cast with little effort.
The noticeable difference with this reel to its competition is its weight to strength ratio. At only 580g it is light for a fixed spool yet it packs a punch in terms of interal gear quality and drag strength making it any ideal choice for any angler fishing from the shore.
