BKK engineers were asked to design a hook to tackle the strongest, most aggressive fish that anyone could think of. The requirements for the hook included superior hook up potential and a super sharp, razer like hook point, these hooks also needed to be ultra-strong and highly corrosion resistant, the Raptor-X was born. Featuring a fully welded Micro Ring hook eye, which is formed once the hook shank has undergone a special grinding process. This maintains a strong eye with a slim profile for easy split ring attachment. A short-welded section increases the strength of the hook to reduce the possibility of being pulled open. The wide gape and deep hook point design reduces the change of a hook pull during the heat of a fight.
