Specifically is designed to effectively work heavy jigs, pirks and shads in the Fjords when targeting Cod and Coalfish. The rod is specifically designed for use with a fixed spool to allow a quicker retrieve and to be more direct with the fish. The rods max weight to effectively jig with is an impressive 400g covering most large shads and pirks. This rod will cope with many differing types of angling from Norway Cod to blue water species such as Tarpon and GT’s.
