The FXD Series from ICON have beed designed in the uk has a premium
continental rod for the uk shore angler.

The FXD-Super Elite 3 Piece is a slim yet powerful rod which is ideal
for general shore fishing.

The combination of a carbon power tip and tip to mid semi parabolic
action means that you have a 'continental' rod which can comfortably
handle 5oz and 6oz sinkers plus baits but is still capable of stepping
up to 7oz should conditions dictate the need for a heavier sinker.

The rod responds best to advanced overhead casting or OTG casting and a
powerful but progressive cast will send your bait out towards the
horizon.
