The Penn Conflict XR Tuna 661 is a great heavy duty rod designed for trolling and drifting for Tuna with conventional reels (multipliers).

Not only is the Penn Conflict XR Tuna 661 a great eye-catcher, but the rod is technically simply perfect.

Equipped with an extremely strong blank with X-wrap technology and being equipped with Heavy Duty SeaGuide guides, these rods can handle the biggest fish out in the deep blue.

A unique feature of the Penn Conflict XR Tuna 661 is that the rod has under whipped, spiral-mounted guides (to the left); this prevents the line touching the blank of the rod under heavy load.

The aluminum reel seat is equipped with a double locking-nut, making sure that the reel is always perfectly secured on the rod.

The X-cross pattern, high-density EVA provides perfect grip, while the slick butt prevents the butt getting damaged in the rod holder.
The aluminum gimbal provides added strength and a secure connection during a fight.
