While the TDR has been a staple since 2005, the 2024 TDR 4012QD elevates that legacy by incorporating AIRDRIVE Design, making this the most powerful and refined version ever produced.

Built for the angler who pushes their gear to the limit, the 4012 features a Hard Aluminium Body that houses a Digigear II system. This combination ensures that the reel doesn’t flex or “bind” when you are reeling in a heavy feeder or a double-figure carp from the far bank. With the new AIRDRIVE Rotor, the reel feels significantly lighter in use, providing a faster, more responsive retrieve than its predecessors.

Key Technology Upgrades

AIRDRIVE ROTOR (Zaion V): By using the high-rigidity Zaion V material and a new spherical design, Daiwa has reduced the weight of the rotor. This lowers start-up inertia, giving you instant rotation the moment you turn the handle.
