Description
Nash Indulgence HD40 8 Leg Sleep System Camo Emperor
The “King Size” of the Bankside: Unrivalled Space and Strength.
At Gerry’s, we know that for the long-session angler or those who simply demand the most space possible, the “Emperor” is the gold standard. The Nash Indulgence HD40 Emperor takes the legendary comfort of the Indulgence range and scales it up. With a massive 115cm width, this is the ultimate “King Size” bed, offering enough room for two people or unparalleled luxury for one.
The HD40 series represents a significant upgrade in durability. Nash has integrated selective steel reinforcement at key stress points. This ensures the frame remains perfectly straight and true, even if you spend hours sitting on the center of the bed during the day or repeatedly pack it down for transport.
Why the HD40 Emperor is a Class Leader:
-
The Emperor Footprint: Boasting a 115cm width, this is the largest sleep system in the Nash stable, providing a level of freedom and movement that standard beds cannot match.
-
HD40 Comfort Core: Features a deep 40mm high-density foam mattress that provides consistent support across the entire frame.
-
All-Season Thermal Efficiency: The integrated 4-season hollow fibre duvet includes internal body baffles. These baffles accelerate the warm-up process by trapping heat close to your body instantly.
-
Reinforced Chassis: The 8-leg design provides total support from head to toe, while the reinforced steel frame eliminates the “bowing” often found in larger, wide-format beds.
-
Customisable Support: Adjustable elastic tension allows you to fine-tune the lumbar support, ensuring the mattress is as firm or as soft as you prefer.

Key Features for the Specimen Angler
1. 8-Leg Stability:
The 8-leg format is essential for a bed of this size. It ensures that no matter where you sit or lie—even on the very edge—the bed remains rock-solid and level without tipping.
2. Fast-Exit Crash Zips:
When that midnight alarm screams, you need to get out fast. The heavy-duty crash zips are fitted with anti-snag baffles, ensuring you can exit the bed instantly without the duvet getting caught.
3. Valuables Storage:
Includes a detachable mesh valuables pocket that can be fitted to either side of the bed. It’s the perfect spot for your receiver, keys, and phone, keeping them off the floor and within easy reach.
4. Flat-Fold Transport:
Despite its massive size, the extended hinge mechanisms and top-mounted compression straps allow the Emperor to fold completely flat. This makes it far easier to stack on a barrow or secure in a transit van.
Gerry’s Verdict: If you are a ‘big guy,’ a couple fishing together, or someone who just wants the absolute best in comfort, the HD40 Emperor is unbeatable. The reinforced frame is a massive upgrade—it feels significantly more robust than previous wide-format beds. It’s a genuine investment in your bankside health and sleep quality
