Commercial Carp Fishing: The perfect reel line for Method or Hybrid feeder work. Its stretch acts as a vital cushion during those heart-stopping lunges at the net.
River Feeder Tactics: Use the thicker diameters as a mainline for Barbel and Chub. Its abrasion resistance and bronze color make it ideal for dragging over gravel and through murky flows.
Braid Shock Leaders: Because it stretches well and sinks fast, the 0.26mm or 0.28mm diameters make excellent shock leaders for distance braid setups, providing the “give” you need during the cast and the strike.

When you spool up with Nytro Sublime, give the line a quick wipe with a cloth dampened with a tiny bit of watered-down washing-up liquid. This removes any manufacturing oils and helps the line ‘break’ the surface tension instantly. Also, if you’re fishing distance with braid, use about two rod-lengths of the 0.28mm Sublime as a leader. It provides the perfect ‘power-steering’ for your cast and a much-needed buffer when a big fish thrashes in the margins!”

A: Yes. Sublime is a true sinking mono. It is denser than standard monofilament, which helps it cut through the surface. For best results, ensure you sink your rod tip and give the reel a quick turn after the feeder hits the water to pull the line under.
