“To maximize the ‘stay-cold’ time, I always recommend placing a thin, flat ice pack at the very bottom of the bag inside the foil liner, and another one on top of your bait. Because the EVA is an excellent insulator itself, the ‘double-wall’ effect of the EVA outer and the foil inner creates a highly efficient micro-climate. Also, don’t forget that the removable insert is great for hygiene—if a pack of frozen mackerel leaks, just pull the liner out, rinse it in the sink, and your main EVA bag stays smelling fresh!”
