Description

Nash Scope OPS 9ft 3.25lb Abbreviated Rod

The Nash Scope OPS 9ft 3.25lb Abbreviated rod is the premium all-rounder for the highly mobile carp angler. It is the perfect marriage of the advanced casting technology and feel of the OPS blank with the convenience of an ultra-compact packdown and a modern, minimalist grip.

Why Choose the 9ft 3.25lb Abbreviated for Advanced Angling?

• Premium Blank Technology: Built on a superior $30\text{ tonne}$ high modulus carbon and low resin blank with a $1\text{ K}$ Toray external weave, this rod delivers exceptional, crisp recovery. The 45∘ multi-directional fibre reinforcement significantly reduces twist, improving both accuracy and feel in this shorter blank.
• Versatile All-Round Action: The $3.25\text{ lb}$ test curve is the versatile workhorse, providing the ideal balance of power for casting standard leads to medium range and a superior, progressive action for playing fish, essential for minimizing hook pulls.
• Standard Performance Ringing: This model features the standard $40\text{ mm}$ butt ring (as specified for the $3.25\text{ lb}$ test curve models), perfectly suited to standard carp reel sizes and the mobile, short-range focus of the $9\text{ ft}$ rod.
• Modern & Lightweight Grip: The Abbreviated Black Duplon handle (often referred to simply as ‘Abbreviated’ in the Scope range) offers a sleek, minimal, and modern appearance, reducing weight and providing a secure, tactile grip.
• Ultimate Mobility: The 9ft length is perfectly suited for stalking and fishing from restricted swims. The patented telescoping butt design reduces the packed-down size to just $44\text{ inches}$ ($112\text{ cm}$), making it a market leader for quick, ready-rigged transport.
