Sonik Xtractor+ Landing Net 42″: Versatile Reach and Tactical Control

At Gerry’s Fishing, we find the Sonik Xtractor+ 42″ Landing Net to be the ideal bridge between traditional long-handle nets and compact mobile systems. While the “Recon” model focuses on extreme pack-down, the Xtractor+ (T44) focuses on variable reach and rigidity. Featuring a new Twist-lock construction, this net allows you to set your handle at any custom length between 1.20m and 1.80m, making it equally effective for roving the banks or landing fish from the side of a boat.

Constructed from high-modulus stiff carbon, both the handle and the 42″ arms are designed to resist “sag” when pushed through the water. This is paired with a forged aluminium spreader block, providing a rock-solid foundation that ensures the arms remain securely seated even under the strain of a heavy specimen.

Twist-Lock Adjustable Handle: The 2-piece telescopic handle can be locked at any position. Use it at its shortest length (1.20m) for tight swims or boat work, and extend it to 1.80m when you need that extra reach over marginal weed or steep banks.
