At Gerry’s Fishing, we find the Sonik Xtractor+ Recon Net to be a masterpiece of engineering for the mobile or “urban” angler. It is specifically designed to solve the transport issues associated with standard 42″ nets.¹ While most nets require a 6ft poles, the Recon features a telescopic handle and telescopic arms, allowing a full-sized specimen net to pack down to a incredible 30 inches (76cm).² This makes it the perfect partner for the Xtractor Recon 6ft and 8ft rods, fitting easily into compact rod sleeves or small car boots.

The redesigned handle is a standout feature, offering a 3-stage adjustable length. Whether you are netting a fish from a high steep bank at 195cm, using it at a standard 145cm, or using it at the ultra-short 75cm for boat work or tight stalking swims, this net adapts to your environment.
