Specialized Finesse Engineering

• FTB (Finesse Tune Braking): This is the heart of the BFS system. By removing the braking unit from the spool itself and placing adjustable magnets in the side plate, Shimano has created one of their lightest spools ever. This reduces inertia significantly, allowing the spool to start spinning with almost zero resistance.
