At Gerry’s Fishing, we’ve watched the Tempest evolve over the years, but the RS (Rapid Shelter) generation is a genuine leap forward in bivvy technology. The Tempest RS Brolly System Camo takes the iconic, industry-leading design and infuses it with Trakker’s stunning custom camo pattern and the revolutionary Rapid Knuckle System®.

The heart of the shelter remains the patented hinge block, now crafted from Advanced GRP composite—a material that is lightweight, incredibly strong, and fatigue-resistant. The new Rapid Knuckle System allows all five main poles to lock into position in one effortless motion, making this the fastest and easiest Tempest to erect to date.

Superior Fabric & Climate Control

This system utilizes the enhanced Aquatexx™ fabric, boasting a staggering 25,000mm Hydrostatic Head rating. This multi-layer breathable system doesn’t just keep the rain out; it features a black-out pigment that significantly reduces light and heat ingress, keeping the interior dark and cool.

For those humid summer nights, the Adaptive Ventilation® system features six vents (four at the rear and two at the front). These allow for consistent airflow even during a downpour. The four rear vents can even be pegged out to create “cooling zones” of shade, which, when combined with a Skull Cap, can lower the internal temperature by several degrees.

Optimized Internal Space: The rear of the brolly has been flattened, allowing you to push your bedchair further back. This maximizes floor space and improves aerodynamics in high winds.
Increased Headroom: The “Tall” design ensures you aren’t constantly hunching over, making those long sessions much more comfortable.
