Here at Gerry’s Fishing, we recommend the 7-meter model for the specialist who wants the simplicity and speed of a whip but requires the reach usually reserved for a full modular pole. It is a master of “long-lining,” allowing you to fish deep water with total control and hit bites with incredible speed.

Despite its impressive length, the Arianna Classic 7m remains remarkably manageable thanks to its HR (High Resistance) Carbon Construction. The telescopic design means there are no sections to fumble with; it pulls out to its full length in seconds and collapses just as quickly. The HR carbon provides the necessary rigidity to prevent the “sag” often found in longer whips, ensuring that every strike is translated directly to the hook.

Precision Engineering for Large Venues

Like its shorter siblings, the 7m version features a hollow tip. This is particularly advantageous at 7 meters, as it provides a slightly stiffer “flick” action to help propel heavier rigs out to the full length of the line. The whip is finished with a robust aluminum screw cap to protect the sections when stored and comes in a fabric sheath to maintain the integrity of the carbon blank.

Gerry’s Top Tip: At 7 meters, wind resistance becomes a significant factor. To maintain accuracy and prevent the line from bowing, we recommend using a slightly more “bottom-heavy” float pattern. Because this whip features a hollow tip, it is also an ideal candidate for light elastication. Fitting a No. 5 or No. 6 elastic through the top two sections will give you a massive advantage if you hook a “bonus” bream or tench while fishing for smaller silver fish
