This is the most powerful model Garbolino offers in this series, specifically engineered for the most demanding disciplines in match and specialist angling: extreme distance and big-river work.

When you need to punch a feeder beyond the 80-meter mark or hold bottom in a surging river current, the 14ft length provides the massive leverage required. Built from a premium blend of HR (High Resistance) and IM (Intermediate Modulus) Carbon, the blank is stiff enough to handle heavy payloads but retains the “G-Feeder” soul—meaning it won’t feel like a broomstick when you’re playing a fish back from the horizon.

At 14ft, this rod is a serious piece of kit. To maximize that 80m+ casting potential, your technique is key. Gerry’s Pro Tip: Use a longer “drop” when casting (having the feeder hanging near the rod joint). This allows the 14ft HR/IM carbon blank to fully compress and act like a catapult. Also, because this is the most powerful model, it pairs perfectly with a 5000 or 6000 size reel. The larger spool diameter will significantly reduce line friction through the guides, adding those vital extra meters to your cast
