The Sakura Pike Gloves are engineered for the serious predator angler who needs to handle fish like Pike, Zander, or large saltwater species without the risk of cuts from gill rakers, teeth, or sharp dorsal fins. Unlike many “one-size-fits-all” single gloves, Sakura provides these as a complete pair (Left and Right), ensuring total hand protection regardless of which hand you use to grip the fish.

Constructed from a high-strength hybrid fabric (Polyester, Nylon, and Elastane), these gloves offer a balance of puncture resistance and flexibility. The addition of a thick Latex coating on the palms and fingers provides a “non-slip” grip on slimy fish, while also protecting the fabric from absorbing odors and water.

Enhanced Durability: By using 30% Nylon in the weave, Sakura has significantly increased the abrasion resistance of the glove, protecting against the “sandpaper” teeth of Zander and the razor-sharp gill covers of Bass.
Ergonomic Flex: The 10% Elastane content ensures the gloves aren’t stiff. You maintain enough dexterity to operate pliers or grip the lower jaw of a fish comfortably.

Pike & Muskie Handling: Essential for the “Gill-Plate” lift. The glove protects your knuckles and fingers from the sharp rakers inside the Pike’s mouth while you’re unhooking.

“The magnetic release on these is a lifesaver. I keep the magnets clipped to the back of my Sakura Predator Box or my belt loop.
