How to Use Robin Red Method Mix

The Perfect Method Mix

Empty the 2kg bag into a large, round mixing bucket.
Add exactly 2 pints of water (using a standard maggot tub for measurement).
Mix thoroughly and let it rest for 30 minutes.
Pass the mix through a medium riddle to remove any small lumps and create a fluffy, consistent texture.

The “Des Shipp” Paste Trick

Because this mix is so sticky, it makes an incredible pole paste. Simply continue adding water to a small portion of the mix until you reach your desired consistency—from a firm “stiff” paste to a “sloppy” margin mix that clouds the water.

If it starts to feel a bit ‘crumbly’ halfway through the match, don’t be afraid to give it a quick spray with a water mister to bring back that perfect tackiness.”
