The Zziplex Bass range is split into two distinct models: the CT (Carbon Tip) and the GT (Glass Tip). While both utilize high-tensile glass and carbon fibre, the GT features a sensitive, predominantly high-tensile glass fibre tip meticulously designed to register the most subtle bites. What makes the GT so special is how seamlessly this glass tip blends into the carbon butt section. This unique taper allows for exceptional energy storage, translating your casting effort into impressive distances with maximum efficiency and minimal physical strain.

Whether you are a mobile angler roaming the coastline or fishing statically from a rod rest, the Zziplex Bass GT is a classic sporting blank optimized for long, fatigue-free sessions. At just 11′ 8″ and weighing a mere 446g in total, it is incredibly comfortable to hold. It excels at casting both metal and aerodynamic resin lures, as well as delicate bait presentations in the 2oz to 4oz range.

Cosmetically, the rod is flawless. The Jet Black blank is wrapped in Midnight black whippings with metallic blue underlays, white inlays, and striking red tips. Finished with matte black AT Delta K Guides and a CNC machined sliding reel seat, it is a masterclass in custom rod building.

While the Bass GT will handle clean beach cod fishing brilliantly, it is primarily a lightweight 2-4oz rod designed for finesse, estuary, and bass work. If you are fishing heavy rough ground, strong tides, and casting 6-8oz leads plus large baits, we highly recommend stepping up to a heavier rod like the Zziplex Bullet GT.
