Description
Big-water anglers will appreciate the exceptionally smooth performance of the Abu Garcia Ambassadeur C3 7000 Round Reel, built with a 2 stainless steel ball bearing plus 1 roller bearing system that delivers a genuinely refined feel over the C1 and C2 reels below it. Built for strength and reliability in equal measure, it features a corrosion-resistant instant anti-reverse bearing and a one-piece reel foot, giving you both durability and solid, positive hook-setting power the moment a fish takes.
The extended bent handle with a power knob increases torque and brings your cranking hand closer to the reel, giving genuinely greater leverage and efficiency when fighting fish, a small design detail that makes a real difference over a long fight with a big fish. A 4-pin centrifugal braking system ensures controlled, confident casts, while the Carbon Matrix drag system, a step up from the C1 and C2’s multi-disc drag, delivers exceptionally smooth, consistent pressure throughout the entire drag range rather than just at one setting.

FAQs
What makes the Carbon Matrix drag different from a multi-disc system?
Carbon Matrix drag washers are designed to deliver noticeably smoother, more consistent pressure throughout the entire drag range, rather than the pressure varying more between settings as with a standard multi-disc system.
Is the C3 7000 available in left-hand retrieve?
Check the current listing for handedness options on this specific size; other sizes within the C3 range are offered in both retrieves.
How does the C3 compare to the C1 and C2?
The C3 steps up with Carbon Matrix drag technology in place of the multi-disc systems used on the C1 and C2, giving a smoother, more refined drag feel.
What’s the benefit of the extended bent handle with power knob?
It increases leverage and brings your cranking hand closer to the reel, improving fighting efficiency and reducing fatigue during longer battles with bigger fish.
