The Penn Slammer IV 5500 is a high-performance spinning reel designed for anglers who demand durability and power. This reel is built to withstand the toughest saltwater conditions, making it ideal for offshore fishing. With a maximum drag of 40 pounds, it can handle large game fish with ease.

The Slammer IV 5500 features a full metal body and sideplate construction, providing excellent rigidity and strength. Its CNC gear technology ensures smooth and precise operation, while the Dura-Drag system delivers consistent drag pressure throughout the fight. The reel also boasts a 5+1 stainless steel bearing system for smooth retrieves and a line capacity of 330 yards of 30-pound mono or 490 yards of 50-pound braid.
