The Shakespeare SALT XT MPV is especially designed to be as versatile as possible and is designed for sea anglers who require a single rod to cover a wide range of sea applications. Due to the high grade carbon with fast taper and progressive transfer of power from the upper tip and mid section, the rod can be used for float fishing from the rocks or piers. As well it is perfect for spinning for bass, pollock or mackerel. Due to the length it is also very suitable for light beach ledgering. Because of the special SW proof K-type guides, the line cannot get entangled around the guides any more, preventing knots or breakages. So simply a perfect rod for the most versatile angler who is looking for a rod that can handle nearly every situation.
