The Conflict II series was notably one of PENN’s lightest spinning reels at the time of its release, achieved through the use of an innovative material for the body and rotor. The 4000 HS model provides a fantastic balance of line capacity and high retrieve rate for fast-paced fishing like jigging or retrieving lures quickly.

Lightweight Construction: The body and rotor are made from RR30 Rigid Resin, a lightweight and durable material that significantly reduces the overall weight of the reel.
High-Speed (HS) Gear Ratio: The $6.2 : 1$ gear ratio allows for fast lure retrieval, which is ideal for working topwater lures or quickly picking up line slack.
HT-100™ Drag System: Features PENN’s renowned HT-100™ carbon fiber drag washers which provide smooth, powerful, and consistent drag under heavy loads.
CNC Gear™ Technology: The main gear is cut using precision computer-controlled machinery, resulting in a durable, precise, and smooth gear system.
Superline Spool™: The spool is designed with a rubber gasket, eliminating the need for backing material when using braided line and preventing the braid from slipping.
