A truly stunning light specialist rod that offers great sport and feel when scaling down leads and baits. Weighing in at just 390 grams, it’s a delight to hold all session whilst bass fishing in the surf or touch ledgering with a peeler crab close in amongst the weed beds.

Fishing worm baits for flounder and bass in a flooding estuary tide, or a running a rolling lead across sand banks in search of plaice, then this is the rod for you.

Close in match fishing, live baiting, float fishing, feathering, or a junior just starting out, the AIRLYTE is a super versatile piece of kit and a must-have to sit alongside your heavier beach rod.

The 2 piece, 11.5ft/3.5m high modulus unground carbon blank with hybrid tip makes for a lovely crisp action, pinging out up to 4oz of lead plus bait with absolute ease. There’s plenty of backbone along the butt and mid-section making way to a sensitive hybrid tip offering truly superb bite detection and feel.

Fitted with a quality graphite sliding reel seat with EVA collars, the AIRLYTE can be fished with either a fixed spool or light multiplier positioned exactly where you want it.
