How many rigs does it really hold?

While the capacity is rated for 60, this assumes you are using both sides of the board and keeping your rigs relatively neat. It comfortably holds 30-40 rigs without them feeling “crowded,” but the double-sided design does allow for the full 60 if needed.

What is the maximum rig length it can take?

The Mini RigSafe is designed for “standard” length hooklinks. It will comfortably hold rigs up to approximately 8 inches (20cm) in length. If you prefer long 12-inch or 18-inch hooklinks, we recommend the Korda Large RigSafe.

Are the pins easy to lose?

The pins are held securely in a small compartment within the case. However, like all small terminal tackle, it’s best to handle them over your unhooking mat or a flat tray to avoid losing them in the grass. Replacement pins are available if you do misplace them.

Will the magnets affect my electronic bite alarms?

No. While the magnets are strong enough to keep the case closed, they are localised and do not emit a large enough magnetic field to interfere with bite alarms, phones, or other electronic bankside equipment stored in your carryall.
