Setting Up Your EXO+ RV

Thanks to the integrated mechanical design, setup is a highly intuitive, step-by-step process:

1.Lay Flat & Spread Frame:Step 1.

Unpack the bivvy and lay it flat on your peg. Locate the patented central boss system and pull the rigid anti-twist poles outwards, clicking them naturally into their reinforced corner joints.

2.Engage the Boss & Tension Strap:Step 2.

Push the central boss mechanism forward until the frame locks into its self-supporting dome shape. Clip the supplied fabric tension strap across the base to hold the correct footprint width.

3.Secure Storm Poles & Peg:Step 3.

Attach the two supplied Lok Down adjustable storm poles to the front of the integrated peak to brace the entrance. Peg out the rear corners first, pull the tent drum-tight forward, and secure the remaining heavy-duty pegs.

4.Groundsheet & Add-ons:Step 4.

Clip in the heavy-duty groundsheet to seal out moisture and bugs. Depending on the weather, throw the included Storm Cap over the roof for extra insulation, or zip in the clear PVC window panel to see through the door during heavy rain.

The EXO+ RV is supplied with a dedicated Storm Cap, which adds an extra protective layer over the top roof section to boost insulation and cut condensation. If you want full, extended dual-layer coverage down the sides and a 30cm front porch, you can upgrade your setup by purchasing the standalone Avid EXO+ RV Storm Cap Wrap.

Is it easy for one person to pack down?
