“The Squobbler is a ‘deflection’ specialist. Because of that wide head and buoyant body, it’s actually quite snag-resistant. Don’t be afraid to fish it near the bottom or close to rocks. If you feel the lure ‘bump’ an obstruction, stop winding for one second. The lure will ‘squobble’ and float upward, clearing the snag. Often, a following fish will smash it the second it starts to rise!”

Is 11g too heavy for a small lure?

Not at all! The 11g weight makes this one of the best-casting small lures on the market. It allows you to use standard lure tackle while still presenting a small, finesse-sized bait.

How deep does it actually go?

On a standard retrieve with light braid, the Squobbler will reach a consistent depth of 1 meter (3ft). If you hold your rod tip high, you can work it much shallower (approx. 0.5m).

Is it suitable for Trout in fast water?
