To get the most secure fit, we recommend placing the bracket on your rod tip exactly between the top two guides. Use a tiny wrap of clear tape around the rod before clipping the bracket on—this gives the plastic a “bite” so it can’t slide or rotate during a massive cast. Remember: To turn the light off and save your battery, just take the battery out and put it back in the housing “pointy-end first” (upside down). It stores the battery safely without completing the circuit!
