The Daiwa 26 Crossfire LT 4000-C is a robust yet lightweight fixed spool reel, engineered under Daiwa’s revolutionary ‘Light & Tough’ (LT) concept. This design principle ensures the reel is significantly lighter than older models, reducing fatigue during a long day of casting, without sacrificing the structural integrity needed for challenging fishing conditions. The reel features a durable DS4 Composite Body and Rotor which houses the heart of the mechanism: the Tough Digigear drive system. This cold-forged, precision-milled gearing delivers silky smooth rotation combined with powerful torque, giving the angler a distinct advantage when fighting powerful fish or retrieving heavy lures. Line control is managed by the Longcast ABS Aluminium Spool and the Twistbuster 3 line roller, promoting friction reduction for maximum casting distance and minimizing line twist.
