These rods are Daiwa’s flag ship shore rods and boy they are nice.

Crucially, both models are made using their specialist X45 carbon which allows the production of a rod which has a huge power to weight ratio. Not only this but it produces a crisp and ultra fast recovery during the cast which results in massive distance, even in an ‘average anglers’ hands.

The 13ft 6″ version is a bit easier to handle and slightly softer. It’s a perfect choice for anyone wanting a clean to mixed ground fishing rod.

he 14ft 2″ version has a bit more grunt and can be used over slightly heavier ground.

Both rods have incredible bite registration.

The rods also give you an awful lot sensitivity through the blank when gives you more control and feel which is essential when playing hard fishing species such as Bass and Smoothounds.
