Description
The Daiwa N’Zon Pro Staff Power Feeder in the 13-foot, 3-piece configuration is a flagship feeder rod engineered for anglers demanding absolute accuracy and power at extreme ranges on the UK’s toughest venues. This rod is the ultimate tool for competitive match fishing and serious pleasure angling where distance casting is paramount, such as large reservoirs, vast natural lakes, and powerful, fast-flowing rivers.
Product Details and Uses for UK Fishing
The 13-foot Pro Staff Power Feeder is meticulously designed using Daiwa’s most advanced blank technology to ensure that every cast hits the target, even in challenging crosswinds or when launching heavy feeders.
- Long-Range Accuracy: Its 13-foot length and powerful blank action are tuned for propelling heavy feeders (up to 120g) to the horizon. This makes it ideal for casting to distant islands, far banks, or areas on large lakes like Ferry Meadows or Chew Valley where fish hold far from the bank.
- River Mastery: The robust ‘Power Feeder’ action and high loading point make this rod exceptional for UK river fishing, particularly on fast-flowing waters such as the Trent, Severn, or Wye. It can handle the drag of strong currents and large, heavy-duty feeders while retaining the sensitivity to register drop-back bites from barbel, chub, or bream.
- Big Fish Control: Despite its focus on distance, the blank’s construction ensures superb torque control, which is essential when fighting large carp, hard-fighting bream, or powerful barbel. It provides the backbone needed to subdue big fish quickly, a critical requirement in match fishing scenarios.
- Premium Componentry: The rod is outfitted with top-of-the-line components, including Fuji KL Alconite guides, which are perfect for both mono and braided lines, guaranteeing smooth, frictionless casting and reducing the chance of wind knots when punching out to maximum range.
Cutting-Edge Blank Technology
The rod’s exceptional performance is derived from the fusion of two key Daiwa technologies:
- X45X Full Shield: This enhanced carbon construction technology controls the blank’s torque, drastically reducing twist on the cast. This results in phenomenal casting accuracy and distance, allowing you to hit the clip spot-on time after time.
- HVF nanoplus (High Volume Fibre): By combining high-density, low-resin carbon fibre with Daiwa’s Nano technology, the rod achieves a slimmer, lighter blank while retaining immense power and responsiveness, offering superior feel and blank recovery on the cast.
- V-Joint Alpha: The connecting sections feature V-Joint Alpha technology, which ensures a seamless curve and power transmission across the joint, making the three-piece rod feel and perform like a single-section blank.
