Pro Tip: These internal bushes provide a much sleeker profile than external “hat” bushes, reducing the chance of your line tangling around the tip. When fitting, ensure you cut your pole section back to a point where the bush is a firm “interference fit.” If the bush feels slightly loose, avoid using heavy glue; a single wrap of PTFE plumber’s tape around the base of the bush before insertion will create a perfect, removable seal.
