As the largest model in the revamped EOS FS family, the 14,000 is built for the rigours of modern specimen angling. It features a rock-solid Free Spool system, allowing a taking fish to run effortlessly until you engage the handle, instantly switching to a silky-smooth front drag for total control during the fight.

With a massive line capacity and a grit-and-glory 10+1 stainless ball bearing construction, this reel is as smooth as it is strong. Balance is Key: Because the 14000 is a substantial reel weighing 713g, we recommend pairing it with a “distance” or “power” style rod (typically 3.25lb TC or higher). If you are fishing smaller, intimate club waters, you might find the 8000 or 10,000 sizes more balanced. However, if your goal is “maximum capacity and maximum power,” the 14000 is the only one for the job
