• Complete Internal Pod: This is a full-length inner pod that creates a separate “inner tent” inside the bivvy. It zips directly to the main bivvy’s heavy-duty groundsheet, providing a fully sealed, bug-proof barrier.
• Toggles for Easy Attachment: The inner mesh shield is designed to be easily and quickly fixed into position using a simple toggle attachment system that connects to the bivvy’s internal frame.
• No Separate Groundsheet: Unlike some other inner domes, the Mesh Shield does not have its own separate groundsheet. Instead, it zips directly to the bivvy’s existing groundsheet, which reduces both weight and packed bulk.
• Double-Zipped Front Door: The front door of the mesh shield features a double-zipped closure, allowing for a “letterbox” style opening. This is a very useful feature for quickly checking your rods or getting in and out without fully unzipping the entire door.
• Internal Storage Pockets and Hanging Loop: For added convenience, the mesh shield includes two internal mesh pockets for storing small items like a headtorch, phone, or keys. It also features a central hanging loop, perfect for hanging a bivvy light.
