The Garbolino G-Feeder One Power Distance is the versatile workhorse of the distance range, bridging the gap between standard feeder rods and the extreme “Super Distance” models. Specifically designed to dominate the 50m to 80m bracket, this rod is for the angler who needs a blend of raw casting power and refined fish-playing action.

Forged from a high-quality blend of HR (High Resistance) and IM (Intermediate Modulus) Carbon, the 13ft blank is incredibly slim for a power rod. It features a progressive action that loads deeply during a cast to propel feeders with ease, yet maintains enough “feel” in the upper sections to ensure you don’t pull the hook out of a soft-mouthed bream or skimmer. Supplied with 2.8mm G-FLEX tips, each clearly marked with its power rating, you can tune your sensitivity perfectly to the conditions.

Large Stillwaters & Reservoirs: The ideal choice for “standard” distance work. If the fish are sitting just past the 50m mark, this rod will put you on the spot every time with minimal effort.
Medium to Large Rivers: Excellent for targeting chub and barbel on rivers like the Ribble or the Wear. The 13ft length provides great line clearance over near-bank reeds and snags.

The “Power Distance” is all about rhythm and accuracy. Gerry’s Pro Tip: When you are aiming for that 50m to 80m sweet spot, don’t just aim for distance—aim for a tight feeding area. Use the line clip on your reel and pick a permanent marker on the far bank. Because this rod features HR/IM Carbon, it recovers very quickly after the cast; if you find your feeder is bouncing back slightly after hitting the clip, try softening your casting stroke. The rod has plenty of natural “kick,” so let the carbon do the heavy lifting for you
