The Perfect “Loop-to-Loop” Attachment: For maximum hook-gape efficiency, don’t tie the band directly to the hair with a knot. Instead, tie a small loop at the end of your hair rig and use a bait bander to pull the band through the loop (loop-to-loop style). This allows the band to “hinge” more freely, giving the pellet better movement and ensuring the hook point is always clear to find a hold in the fish’s mouth.
