Gerry’s Pro Tip
Pro Tip: If you frequently fish with oily baits like mackerel, blue; or use heavily scented liquid attractants, consider keeping two of these towels in your kit. Dedicate one towel specifically for wiping off heavy bait residue and slime, and use the second clean towel strictly for thoroughly drying your hands before tying knots or handling your premium carbon rods and reels!
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Q: Can the carabiner clip be removed if I want to wash the towel?
A: Yes, the carabiner can be quickly and easily unclipped from the towel’s heavy-duty eyelet loop, allowing you to throw the fabric straight into the washing machine without any metal clattering around in the drum.
Q: Is it bulky to carry around when roving or stalking?
A: Not at all. At 40cm x 30cm, it is specifically designed to be lightweight and ultra-compact. You can clip it to your hip and barely notice it’s there while walking long distances along a riverbank or beach.
Q: How well does it absorb water compared to a standard domestic towel?
A: The Inova Anglers Towel is made from a tight, highly absorbent weave that lifts moisture and slime off your skin far more efficiently than standard household cotton towels, plus it dries out significantly faster when hung up in a bankside breeze.
