The Nash Scope GTL 8000 is a high-performance, big-pit reel designed to maximize casting distance and line capacity, making it suitable for extreme range fishing, including long-range boat work on large waters. It is built to partner with both Nash’s shorter Scope and Dwarf rods (9ft and 10ft) and traditional 12ft and 13ft rods.

Saltwater Standard Engineering: Built with rugged internal components and a stainless steel main shaft and gear assembly to ensure long-term durability and performance, even under demanding conditions.
Slow Oscillation: This mechanism provides clinical line lay (uniform spooling), which is crucial for maximizing casting range.
Fast Drag System: Allows the user to move the drag from a free spool setting to a fighting drag setting in approximately half a turn of the clutch cap.
Waterproof Sealed Clutch: Features carbon washers for a smooth, dependable, and durable drag system.
Handle: Equipped with a spring-loaded, one-touch folding handle for compact storage. It also includes interchangeable black and wooden handle grips.
Weight Reduction: The spool is perforated with a honeycomb design to reduce overall weight.
Line Protection: Features a Dual propulsion line roller to minimize line twist and rubber line guard strips to prevent tangles around the rotor when boating baits out.
Casting Clip: Includes a line-friendly casting clip.
