Firstly, you have the option to choose one of two Penn Regiment travel rods, depending on your preferences and the size of the fish you are targeting. The first rod is a 20/30lb class, which is ideal for smaller cod and halibut, while the second rod is a 30/50lb class, perfect for those larger, more elusive trophy fish.

Both rods are paired with the powerful and reliable Penn Fathom II 30 Lever Drag Reel, which is designed to handle the toughest conditions with ease. Loaded with 50lb Berkley Nautil Braid, this reel will give you the strength and sensitivity you need to feel even the slightest bite from those big fish. It’s also fitted to an 80lb Berkley Nautil Leader, which is strong enough to resist the abrasions of rocks and rough waters.

When it comes to the terminal side of the kit, we’ve beefed up the selection of lures to give you the best chance of attracting those fish.
